N.W. Ayer Advertising Agency Records, 1849-1851; 1869-1996 is one of the collections that make up the holdings of the Archives Center, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution. N.W. Ayer is one of the oldest and largest advertising agencies in the U.S. We have selected a sample of images from the large collection of more than 400,000 proofs of advertisements. Work must be sought from the Archives Center at NMAH.
